This Privacy Policy is published by Mere Apne Fincare Co-operative Urban Thrift & Credit Society Limited in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023) and applicable laws.
1. Data Fiduciary and Applicability
Mere Apne Fincare Co-operative Urban Thrift & Credit Society Limited (“Society”, “we”, “us”) is the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data collected from members, applicants, and visitors in connection with membership, savings, investments, loans, and use of our website or office services. This policy applies to personal data processed in digital and, where relevant, physical form, in line with the DPDP Act 2023.

We process personal data only for lawful purposes, with your consent where required under the DPDP Act 2023, or where necessary for the provision of services to you as a member, for compliance with legal obligations (including under the Delhi Co-operative Society Act, 2003, and rules thereunder), or for legitimate interests pursued by the Society in a manner that is not overriding your rights.
3. Types of Personal Data Collected
We may collect identifiers (e.g. name, membership number), contact details (e.g. phone, email, address), identity and KYC information (e.g. Aadhaar, PAN, photograph, School ID / fee receipt where applicable for products such as Baalbachat), financial and transaction data related to savings, investments, and loans, and technical data (e.g. IP address, device information) when you use our website or digital channels, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Use of Data
Personal data is used to provide and administer membership, savings, investment and loan products, to verify identity and comply with KYC/AML and co-operative laws, to communicate with you, to improve our services and website, and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Disclosure and Sharing
We may share personal data with regulators, banks (e.g. South Indian Bank for operations), service providers necessary for our operations, and as required by law. We do not sell your personal data. Any transfer or disclosure is done in accordance with the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable rules.
